Autodrom is introducing a new event: The Most Rally Sprint

Autodrom Most is introducing a new interesting event not only for motor sport fans. The zero year of the Rally Sprint Exhibition Race will take place on the Autodrom race circuit in mid-November. This extremely attractive motorist discipline represents the newest addition to the already extensive range of events held by Autodrom Most for all fans.  The Rally Sprint will dominate the race circuit as well as the centre of Most on 13 and 14 November. The race will have a rich accompanying programme, including Friday’s ceremonial start on the 1. náměstí square in Most.

According to the CEO of Autodrom Most Jiří Volovecký, the rally sprint race is being held on an enclosed circuit in order to ensure a unique and interesting experience for the racers and visitors alike and to show that the Autodrom has ambitions to organize new attractive events in addition to the usual circuit races of road motorcycles and cars.

"Visitors have a lot to look forward to. The advantage of these races is not only their indisputable attractiveness, but most importantly their safety. Organizing the rally in an enclosed site eliminates the risk of accidents and allows visitors to watch the whole race from the visitor slope. Spectators can enjoy the whole race – from start to finish. We believe that the new Most Rally Sprint race will find its fans and that these races will become a tradition. We would therefore like to invite everyone who enjoys new and unique events, fast machines and the unforgettable atmosphere of rally races to come and watch in November," says Volovecký.

The deadline for race applications is on 7 November. "We hope that this new rally sprint race will attract experienced racers as well as new aspiring drivers. We are currently intensely negotiating with all involved parties," adds Luděk Diviš, who is responsible for the sports and technical aspect of the Most Rally Sprint.

He also pointed out the unusual connection of the race track with the adjacent Polygon. "Speed trials will take place on the race track and surrounding service roads, as well as on special tracks in the Polygon. The Most Rally Sprint consists of two speed trials. Each crew has two attempts in each speed trial. Their total length is 28.6 km," Diviš adds.

In addition to the race itself, which will take place in the Autodrom on Saturday 14 November from 12:00 to 3 pm, visitors can look forward to a varied accompanying programme. As well as the previously mentioned ceremonial start, which takes place on the 1. náměstí square on Friday at 5:30 pm, with racers signing autographs, visitors can also look forward to a music performance and fireworks.

On Saturday the Autodrom site will be open to the public from 8:00 am.  "Children can enjoy the jumping race zone and playground for free and we have also prepared some competitions for them. During the lunch break there will be an aerobatic show and a presentation of stunts. As a part of the off-road programme, visitors can have a ride in a military troop carrier. Another highlight of the programme is the exhibition of historical vehicles and special race trucks of the Buggyra team, which will be starting in next year’s legendary Dakar Rally. Race trucks of the successful Roudnice team are also expected to attend," says Tereza Zajíčková from Autodrom Most. "We would like to wish the Buggyra team lots of luck and success in one of the toughest competitions in the world" she adds.

You can also attend the Most Rally Sprint as a VIP guest. A ticket costs CZK 790 including VAT and guarantees an exclusive experience. In addition to a full day’s entry to Autodrom, VIP tickets include a parking place for your car, entry to the VIP area with a view of the start of one of the speed trials, refreshments throughout the whole day, a commented tour of special Dakar race trucks and a souvenir.

The Rally Sprint premiere in Most Autodrom will be covered by Česká Televize and broadcast as two twenty-minute shows on ČT Sport.
