Race-goers can look forward to a number of new events and premieres at the Autodrom Most motor racing circuit this year. The 2017 season includes ten vital races, which is more than last year. As every year, the calendar will be completed with some more events such as the Edda Cup, the Carbonia Cup, the 6 Hours of Le Most rallycross endurance race and newly a motorcycle endurance race as well as a legendary Trabant endurance race. Autodrom Most has prepared the opening of a new main season for the general public on Sunday 16th April when the fifth edition of popular free drives in the participants’ own cars around the race track, the Most AUTOSHOW #5, takes place. All the races and events will include a varied programme of side events for the spectators.

Autodrom Most will see the first great premiere over the weekend of 12–14 May 2017. This will feature historic cars. The Most Historic Grand Prix will offer several very interesting race series. These include the FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior Cars and the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association (HGPCA) – battles between 1930–1960 front-engined Grand Prix racing cars and 1961–1965 rear-engined cars. This display of beautiful polished vintage racing cars will be joined by Triumph Competition touring cars and the British HTGT as well as HAIGO, well-known at Most, and that in historic touring car and Formula car categories.

The second edition of the Most RALLY event, which is part of the Rally sprint series announced by the Autoclub of the Czech Republic (ACCR), will take place from 2–3 June. This means that the date has been moved from autumn to late spring, which should bring thermal comfort to teams and fans. Here, too, the fans will see something new. This time, special stages along the roads in the neighbourhood are added to special stages held in the closed area of the Polygon proving ground.

A minibike race is another new feature of this season. The Most Czech Minibike Weekend, a national championship involving motorcycle talent on small-displacement special bikes, will take place on the minor racing circuit within the confines of the Polygon proving ground on the weekend of 21–23 July. The Most Europe Minibike Weekend championship points will be allocated among young riders on the same oval a week later, that is, on the weekend of 28–30 July.

Autodrom Most will host the most prestigious and most frequently visited event of the annual calendar, the Czech Truck Prix, on the weekend of 1–3 September. The truckers will fight in a festive atmosphere at Most as this is already the twenty-fifth edition of the race included in the European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC). Thus, the spectators can look forward to a spectacular side events programme including the debut year of a Truck Festival.

The 2017 season will culminate with another new event from 6–8 October. The name Most Grand Finale race weekend hides the 2017 FIA European Touring Car Cup (ETCC). The Cup inaugural race at Most will be spiced up with the fact that Autodrom Most is the curtain-closer in the 2017 season. So we can expect some hard-fought battles for overall victory. A spectacular weekend festival also includes the last race of the season for the Octavia Cup circuit racing series. This means that the Octavia Cup drivers will fight for the final placings in North Bohemia as well.
