This is the thirty-first time AUTODROM MOST hosts the FIA European Truck Racing Championship Czech Truck Prix event. It is going to take place over the weekend of 25 to 27 August 2023. Apart from the trucks, the event includes NASCAR Whelen Euro Series racing again as well as two more attractive racing series and a traditionally varied programme of side events.

This year, AUTODROM MOST has enjoyed a busy season so far. Following a successful Superbike World Championship event held in late July, a not less intensive end of August has been expected on the North Bohemian circuit. On the 25th to 28th August, the Czech Truck Prix will start an unbelievable fourth decade of truck racing here.

“It is diversity, above all, that invites the fans to our traditional weekend,” says Autodrom Most Chief Executive Officer Josef Zajíček talking about the main attraction of the racing weekend. “During the weekend, the spectators will be able to watch European truck and NASCAR racing, but also historic Formula car racing. Newly, we have included the EuroLegend Cup support series. All these races are known to be full of dramatic situation, so they will definitely be worth seeing.”

There is no doubt that the Buggyra team will steal the headlines at the Autodrom Most race track during the last weekend of August. Although Buggyra had left the European truck racing scene at the end of last year and have focussed on the Touring Car Endurance Series and long-distance competitions for this season instead, they will be present at the traditional venue of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship at Most. In fact, Adam Lacko, a popular home driver, will get behind the wheel of a truck made ready within the framework of Buggyra Academy France.

“It already looked like we wouldn’t take part at Most this year, but eventually, we’re going to be there in all our finery with my 55, so come and watch the races so that I could hear you support us,” said Adam Lacko, encouraging the fans to whom he has always delivered a superb show.

During the sports festival at Most, the truck races will be accompanied by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, which promises a similarly attractive show. The European offshoot of the famous American NASCAR Series has found its home in North Bohemia and become another now traditional competition domesticated at this circuit. The NASCAR series features a successful participation of Czech driver Martin Doubek, who can boast of the 2021 Euro NASCAR 2 Champion title among other things.

But that’s not all. The racing weekend will also include the historic junior Formula Vee support series as well as a EuroLegend Cup race featuring cars of American origin.

The frenetic schedule of the racing weekend will start as soon as Thursday 24th August when, on the eve of the start of the 31st edition of the Czech Truck Prix, a car parade from the Autodrom to downtown Most will take place at 5:30 p.m. Racing vehicles ranging from racing trucks to NASCAR cars and others are to be on public display. The route runs from the Autodrom to a fan meeting point located at a parking area “behind the post-office” (Parkoviště pošta, F. L. Gassmanna Street), where a driver autograph session, a demonstration of vehicles and equipment as well as competitions for valuable awards will take place.

As part of the 31st edition of the Czech Truck Prix, a varied programme has been prepared for all fans.It goes without saying that this programme includes the FanVillage with its attractions, Hot Wheels Zone, Bobík Road Show, driver autograph sessions and the popular TruckFest. Unfortunately, the latter event is already fully occupied so that registration has been closed.

The visitors are sure to be pleased with the parking facilities within the complex of the Autodrom Most.
