WorldSBK Most: Czech representative in each category. Vostatek has a wild card

The top race of the season, the World Superbike Championship is fast approaching and will start on the last weekend of July (28-30/07/23). It is already clear that the Czech fans will have someone to cheer for. Ondřej Vostatek, who will ride in the SSP class, has been given a wild card and will join the ranks of the championship regulars Oliver König in the WorldSBK and Petr Svoboda, who is fighting for the world championship title in the SSP300 class.

 

After Imola, the biggest motorcycle show is moving to the Czech Republic and the races at the Autodrom in Most, which attracted almost 40 thousand visitors last year, promise a great spectacle once again. This will be the third time that the World Superbike Championship will be held in Most and for the Czech riders it is always an important highlight of the season in front of the home crowd.

 

Ondřej Vostatek, who has been riding successfully in the Spanish superbike championship this year, will ride in Most on the wild card. Last year, as a regular rider in the World Superbike Championship, he won two 10th places in the Supersport category. "My expectations are very high, but we know it won't be easy. I have been preparing intensively for the last few weeks. Like every racer, I would like to be on the highest podium, but I will be happy for every podium finish," says Ondřej Vostatek, who knows the Most circuit well and will want to give his best performance in front of the home crowd.

 

Petr Svoboda, who is doing exceptionally well in the SSP300 class this year, will also be at the start in Most. After Imola he is in third place overall and is currently four points away from second place. Another of the regular Czech rider is Oliver König, who starts in the top WorldSBK category. Last year he narrowly missed out on a points position in Most and we can only keep our fingers crossed that this year will be a good one.

 

"The World Championship of road motorcycles has a long tradition in our country and the World Superbike Championship is being held for the third time at the Most Autodrom. It is a wonderful event of Czech motorsport with an excellent atmosphere, come and enjoy it! This year you will also be able to keep your fingers crossed for the Czech riders, I am cheering for all of them. I am looking forward to the performances of Petr Svoboda, who is rocking this year in the Supersports 300 and reminds us of the performances of our legends of the world championships of road motorcycles," says Jan Šťovíček, President of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic.

 

Czech fans will have their favourite in all three categories that will take place during the last weekend of July in Most. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be one main race in each category in addition to the Superpole Race and the schedule for the whole weekend will be extremely action-packed.

 

In addition to the riders and the teams, the organisers have of course been preparing for the race for a long time and want to attract even more fans this year. "Our biggest novelty for this year is the entrance fee divided into spectator zone and paddock, which allowed us to reduce the basic one-day entrance fee to 750 CZK,"explains Josef Zajíček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Autodrom Most. The basic ticket is sufficient for all those who want to watch the races from the spectator zone. With a ticket that also includes entry to the paddock, you can then get into the very centre of the action. Here, spectators can get a glimpse behind the scenes of the teams as well as be direct participants in activities specific to the WorldSBK Championship. These include the Paddock Show, during which spectators meet the winning drivers, signature events, Victory Lane, during which the winning drivers ride the red carpet right through the spectators, and many other original experiences typical of the WorldSBK series.

 

Other new features this year include the Bike Parade, the fan-motorcycle ride around the racetrack. For bikers who arrive on their own motorcycles, there is also parking on site and a special changing room where they can store their helmets and other equipment.

 

All those who will come to Most for the whole weekend will also enjoy the accompanying programme at the Matylda camp. Leading championship riders such as Scott Redding, Garrett Gerloff and others will be here to meet the fans at the signing show. DJs, a concert, contests for original WorldSBK merchandising and other activities will round out the Friday and Saturday program at the camp, which is free to attend.

 

In addition to regular tickets, VIP tickets are still on sale for CZK 5,990, which include paddock access, on-site parking, VIP hospitality directly above the pits, paddock tour, pit walk and more.

 

It's worth not delaying the purchase of tickets, as the pre-sale at discounted prices ends on July 23.
