The FAS ACCR Approves Special Provisions for a Free Rally Exhibition Event Held in Most

The company AUTODROM MOST has obtained a licence to host the Most RALLY #1 free sporting event. Special provisions for this race to be held as a rally exhibition at the Most Motor-racing Circuit on Saturday 29th October 2016 have been approved by the Federation of the Automobile Sport (FAS) of the Autoclub of the Czech Republic (ACCR).

Spectators will again watch nail-biting duels between top domestic rally crews. As an added bonus, they are admitted free to the Autodrom Most grounds. The competition includes two three-lap circuit special stages run on asphalt and gravel surface with each of these speed trials completed twice by the crews.

From a safety point of view, the Most rally has a massive advantage over open-terrain tracks. Both special stage routes follow the track and service roads on the closed racing circuit. “The spectators watch the race from reserved zones. This way, we have excluded the possibility of a collision with a car going into a skid and off the course, for example,” explained Michal Marek, the Autodrom Most Sports Manager.

According to Jana Svobodová, the Autodrom Most Business and Marketing Manager, the closed circuit has another edge: It is possible to organise a day-long varied supporting programme for the spectators on Saturday. “Adults, children and VIP guests can all look forward to the side events. We will offer a number of attractions including a children’s traffic-drill playground, a kart track, a quad bike racing track or refreshment facility offering both alcoholic beverages and soft drinks inside a BARBUS coach,” Jana Svobodová said.

The organisers offer another bonus to those Automotoklub Most members who will attend the rally competition at the racing circuit. “They will win a free experience programme at our off-road course. This also applies to whoever wants to apply for membership in the Automotoklub Most. Anybody interested can apply at once just filling in an application form available on the spot,” said Jana Svobodová.

The zero edition of The Most Rally Sprint hosted by the Autodrom Most in November 2015 was dominated by driver Antonín Tlusťák and his co-driver Ivo Vybíral in a Škoda Fabia R5. Jiří Navrátil driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX and his co-driver Josef Král finished second nearly forty seconds later. The third-placed crew of Petr Nešetřil and Hynek Středa in a newer Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X car came home 12.5 seconds after the runner-up couple.
