European Truck Racing Championship has its web pages now also in the Czech Republic

European Truck Racing Championship has experienced its first electronic release. It means a launch of brand new web pages www.czechtruckprix.cz, dedicated only to the issues of 5-ton monster races.

Web pages have been launched on Tuesday 24 March 2009. „This step promises certain enhancement of accessibility to information tightly limited only to truck/puller races for both inland and foreign motorsport fans. As every year, the high point of our season is now the 17th race weekend hosting European Championship of these 4 wheel monsters. Some links on these pages are still blank due to the running application procedure for the championship itself, as the application closure date is half of April as stated by FIA. From that day on, the pages should be completed and we are sure that the fans will be happy to learn for example that much information will be delivered to the Czech Truck Prix 2009 web directly by the teams. That is because actually we would like the wide motorsport spectators to get the closest look at mostly hidden world of racing,“ said Michal Marek, Sport Director of the Circuit.
The pages bring among others also a look back in history of truck racing not only in Most but within the whole Europe. You will find here hot news about Most race preparation, as well as the coverage from other circuits within Europe where the races shall occur within this Championship. „As to me, I am the witness remembering this first racing weekend in 1993 and it is still fresh in my memory, that I was sitting on the spectator slope and Steve Parish was rushing to win with his green Mercedes just below, in the finish straight, and during lunchtime, a puller was running about the track on its two rear wheels. That time I didn’t know at all that one day I would be a member of a team who is able to organise such event,“ closed Marek and added that he is looking forward to the moment when staying this time on Pace Truck he will start the inaugural round of truck race.
