Foreign racing teams of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship met for the first time at Most on 18th of June for two-day test, before delayed start of the racing season. It was enabled by ease-up of the restrictions, including border crossing limitations. Teams joined local squad Buggyra Racing, which started to test at Most as early as during the end of April.

During this year’s shortened season, the racing circuit will organize two of its main racing weekends. Czech Truck Prix will be held in its original term, during the weekend of 28th to 30th of August. On 14th and 15th of November, OMV MaxxMotion NASCAR Show will be held, in place of its June date. „According to ease-up of the government restrictions, we react by releasing bigger number of tickets into sale, for both race weekends. Those interested can buy the tickets on our website,“ said sales and marketing director of AUTODROM MOST Jana Svobodová.

Total of twelve Racers from nine teams, headed by six-time European champion, Germany‘s Jochen Hahn and his new IVECO S-WAY R, used the opportunity to test their trucks. Identical car will be also driven by Hahn’s new team mate and his son, Lukas, also Rene Reinert, Andre Kursim, and the only and very successful woman on the grid, Steffi Halm from the Schwabentruck team.

During the May presentation of the new IVECO race machinery at Ulm, Steffi was in very good mood and joked: „Concerning colors, my truck is prettier than Jochen’s. But I think it does not matter, since Jochen will see my truck only from the back side!“.

Team Buggyra Racing tried its machinery in full scope. Skilled Adam Lacko, who would like to add another title to his 2017 crown, was joined by young blood - nineteen year-old Frenchman Téo Calvet and daughter of team owner Martin Koloc, Aliyyah, who will have her sixteenth birthday on 1st of July.

FIA European Truck Racing Championship is set to have only six round this year. Due to corona virus epidemic, races at the Nürburgring and Slovakia Ring will not be held. Czech truck Prix should bet hen the first race of the season. If all goes as planned, following races will form this year’s schedule: Belgian Zolder (12th and 13th of September), Spanish Jarama (26th and 27th of September), Hungary’s Hungaroring (17th and 18th of October), famous Le Mans in France (7th and 8th of November) and Italian Misano (14th and 15th of November).
