Trucks, NASCAR & Formula: a frenetic weekend schedule full of motorsport at the Autodrom Most!

The Autodrom Most motor racing circuit has prepared a really exceptional portion of circuit racing for motor racing fans for the weekend of 27–29 August. In addition to a FIA European Truck Racing Championship round, the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and MAXX Formula events are on the calendar, too.

The Czech Truck Prix and the OMV MaxxMotion NASCAR Show coincide on the same weekend because of widely known circumstances, which did not permit the NASCAR event to happen at any earlier date. Thus, the Autodrom Most will experience a magnificent show on the last summer holiday weekend, which will also be spiced up by an unmatched sound of large-capacity Formula cars reigning in recent history.

The race weekend will start with Friday practice sessions while two truck races and two NASCAR races (NWES 2 and NWES PRO) are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. One MAXX Formula race will be staged each day.

Each of the planned events promises an extremely tense show. Seventeen trucks will line up for the start of the Czech Truck Prix including, of course, three trucks entered by the home Buggyra team led by Adam Lacko.

Almost thirty NASCAR cars are supposed to offer even a little bit more dramatic battles. Frequent collisions and dramatic twists attract spectators like magnets, and the identical cars producing 400 horsepower are guarantee of pure racing. Apart from star number one, Formula One world champion and Indianapolis 500 winner Jacques Villeneuve, Czech Martin Doubek will be present at Most wearing number 7.

MAXX Formula is heading for Most after its last stop at Assen, the Netherlands. This is one of the few opportunities to see various classes of formula cars including some older Formula One, SuperLeague Formula, GP2 and many more cars in action in the Czech Republic. A GP2 Dallara will be driven by Czech female racing driver Veronika Jaksch.

Another piece of good news is that visitors are allowed to enter the paddock and enjoy the atmosphere completely in contrast to the time when the pandemic situation prohibited this.

There is also a programme of side events including the traditional TruckFest, which will culminate with a parade lap around the track on Saturday evening.

Those interested can buy cheaper advance tickets until 26 August. If, however, someone decides to leave it too late, he can find tickets available on the spot.
